Rosie first came to Cyprus in 1975 with the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS). She later joined the CyBC English programmes and presented the magazine programme Round and About up until 2014, when she left to produce her own podcast, the Cyprus News Digest. In 1990 she founded Cans For Kids, a registered charity which collects and recycles aluminium cans, using the monies raised to buy medical equipment for paediatric wards at Cypriot hospitals: over €320,000 worth of equipment has been donated to date.
