Ms. Joanna Constantinidou is a Senior Officer in the Department of Environment. Since 2004 working in this Department, he handled a number of environmental studies for plans / programs / projects, coordinated the European directive and International legislation on environmental acquis, while participating in national, European and international Committees. Since November 2022, she heads the Waste and Circular Economy Project Implementation Section. From 1999 to 2004 she worked in the private sector as an Architect.
She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Imperial College of London and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. At the same time, she attended a number of educational programs, mainly the “MedOpen Advanced Training Course on Climate variability and change (CV&C) in the Mediterranean, 2016”, “International Architecture for Environment and Sustainable Development 2011-2012” and “Strategic Environmental Assessment: Implementation in Practice, 2007”.
Since 2014 she has been a member of the Environmental Committee of ETEK and since 2017 he has been a member of the Environmental Engineering Committee of ETEK. From 2006 to 2008 she was a member of the Association of Environmental Scientists and Engineers. In 2004 she participated in a United Nations Bi-Communal Program for the translation of a book by Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot architects “The Tale of Two Cypriot Villages”.
