Christos Parmakkis is 17 years old. He is actively involved in public affairs and politics in Cyprus and Europe. He has a social media platform with more than 8 thousand followers and 200 thousand likes where he talks about politics, highlights the various problems and promotes solutions, encouraging young people to participate. He is a youth MEP(ambassador of the European parliament), he was the representative of Cyprus at the European economic and social committee youth plenary session in 2023. He was a member of the youth advisory team to the commissioner for the protection of the rights of the child in Cyprus ,and representative of the republic of Cyprus in the corresponding youth body (ENYA) of the council of Europe(in 2020), he is a member of the cyber safety youth panel of the pedagogical institute(ministry of education). He promotes changes and reforms in Cyprus and across the EU to increase the quality of life of the citizens and make a sustainable democratic and safety future.
