Christiana Xenofontos holds a BA in Political Sciences with expertise in International Relations from the University of Cyprus. She is an active advocate for youth rights and youth empowerment for the past ten years.

Christiana has been the Vice President of the European Youth Forum since 2022. She previously served as a Board Member for the mandate 2020-2022. She has also been the Vice President of the Cyprus Youth Council for the mandate 2019-2020.

She worked for the Cyprus Youth Council for four years as Youth Policy Officer, through which she chaired the National Working Group for the EU Youth Dialogue process in Cyprus (2015-2019), the biggest participatory mechanism in Europe for young people into policy making/changing. Christiana has also served as a Youth Delegate for the Commonwealth Youth Council for two years (2015-2017) representing Cyprus. She is a proud One Young World Ambassador.

She collaborated with the National Youth Board of Cyprus for the first National Youth Strategy in Cyprus and for the on-going recognition process of Youth Work. She was one of the leading persons in the team that worked for the candidacy of Nicosia as European Youth Capital back in 2018 (Greater Nicosia 2021).

From 2022 up until recently she was working as a Parliamentary Research Associate for Demetris Demetriou, Member of the Parliament in Cyprus. In May 2023 she was elected as a Member of the Political Office of the Democratic Rally (DISY) in Cyprus.

She has her own series of Podcast called #YOUth_Inspire powered by the Netcast Zone and in October 2022 she published her first Poetry Book.

She is a candidate with the Democratic Rally (DISY) for the European Elections in June 2024.
